Meet the nine companies in the accelerator program

On Thursday, November 2nd we kicked off the 15th edition of the Startuplab Accelerator, and the 7th edition in partnership with DNB NXT. During the event, the nine selected startups got to present their company to an audience of peers, investors, Executives in Residence, DNB representatives, and the Startuplab team.

For the 7th time, Startuplab is proud to partner with DNB NXT for our accelerator program — a collaboration that has laid the foundation for several impressive startups in the past. We can’t wait to see who will follow suit in this program!

Until January 2024, we will work closely with nine promising startups and teams, who will receive support from representatives from DNB, Fremtind, and/or Vipps, as well as the Startuplab team on topics like product development, pricing, sales, fundraising, recruiting, and everything in between. They will also get inspired from three guest speakers with experience from having built businesses on their own. In addition, the companies will be offered tactical workshops on how to present well and how to strategically approach their next fundraising.

The accelerator program culminates with the Winter Pitch Party & Demo Day on January 25th. Want an invitation? Please reach out.

We received close to 200 applications nationwide. In our final selection were companies from various industries; from construction to music. Moreover, the batch includes both software and hardware companies, targeting both consumers and businesses, and four of the nine companies have female founders. In other words, just the kind of mix Startuplab loves to work with.

We are eager to get to work and proud to introduce each company below:

Anker is an Oslo-based company delivering software to validate and populate BIM data. The data enables engineers and architects to produce elements validated by contractors, and design building structures with correctly documented BIM-elements.

The company has emerged as a spin-off from the consultancy firm Reope. The team has very strong combined expertise in BIM and identified a critical problem in the construction industry, which is the lack of data quality.

The company has achieved significant traction, with tens of customers in several countries. Anker is well-prepared to address the challenge of data quality in construction, and Startuplab looks forward to collaborating with the team to bring high-quality data to decision-makers in the construction industry.

Reprice was founded in 2020 and is a Sandefjord-based company developing and marketing price analytics software for the retail- and e-commerce industry.

While current methods for deciding pricing involve manual analysis to benchmark prices on multiple items to other websites and stores, the Reprice software provides the pricing information in real-time.

The benefit for e-commerce sites is that they can adjust their prices momentarily along with market fluctuations, and not spend human resources on price analysis. The initial customers are also using the software for inventory logistics.

The team at Reprice has, in an incredible fashion, added tens of customers already, with a few of them internationally. Startuplab is eager to assist the team on the next steps of their journey!

Bev/Art builds a sensor-based SaaS platform that extends the lifespan and secures the value of art objects. Together with the smallest sensors on the market, their software gives real-time insights and advice on managing indoor museum climate and protecting art in transit.

The IoT solution is accessible on all types of computers, tablets, and mobile devices, giving art owners and museums full control over the treatment of their high-value objects.

Nobody has a more comprehensive overview of the market of museums than the founders, Håvard and Christian, who founded the company while studying at NTNU in Trondheim.

With several customers already using Bev/Art’s services in their museums, it will be fascinating to join the team on their journey to preserve artefacts important to our culture.

UX Signals is an Oslo-based company that builds software for allowing developers of digital tools to get real-time feedback from their users, and, in turn, develop more intuitive and engaging products. Compared to cumbersome user interviews, UX Signals provide feedback in seconds as opposed to weeks and months.

The team of three has impressive startup experience from companies such as Differ, Porterbuddy, and Kron, and has already added a few customers. Among them is Vipps, who will work closely with the company during the accelerator period.

This is just the type of team and software that Startuplab enjoys working with, and it is even more pleasurable to see a good fit with the DNB.

Started when people craved music experiences in the midst of the pandemic, Vierlive offers an innovative platform that enables artists to promote and play live digital concerts, to which fans can purchase tickets and engage with their favourite artists.

Tens of thousands of tickets to unique concert experiences have been sold on the platform over the past few years. With it, artists are introduced to a new business model where they can sell directly and upsell engagement products - keeping more of the value they create.

The team's ability to create a truly unique platform with mind-blowing music experiences is creating further conviction that Vierlive is a service that is redefining the connection between artists and their fans.

There are several people at Startuplab with experience in the music industry, and still, we couldn't help but get intrigued by being a part of the Vierlive journey!
